This one is for all the Dutch readers. To celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Vogue Nederland, this months edition of Vogue includes a free sample mascara from Chanel! The mascara, called 'Le Volume de Chanel,' has been called one of the best mascara's on several websites. After trying this mascara out for a week, I'm actually thinking of buying it (the only thing that stops me from doing so is the price: €30). The mascara stays true to its name, as it really gives your eyelashes more volume, lengthens them and darkens them. Especially the impact this mascara has in combination with my eyelash curler surprised me. For me, the mascara had the best effect if I only applied one layer, otherwise my lashes would stick together. A couple of friends even noticed that I was wearing a different kind of mascara and complimented me on it :).
Apart from the mascara, this issue of Vogue also is a lot of fun to read and features articles as 'Who's who in fashion', in which all the important names in the fashion branch are once again explained accompanied by little drawings, and a spread about Karl Lagerfeld.
